The CenTex chapter of the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO) is the preferred baseball umpire Association for high schools located in Austin, TX and surrounding areas.
Started in 1990, we are dedicated to providing central Texas high schools with umpires that demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, integrity, and competence.
CenTex is committed to ensuring the success of every CenTex umpire through personalized class room education, on field training, and mentoring programs.

Many officials from the CenTex chapter have gone on to Division II, Division I, and even professional baseball.
